Hi y’all! How is your week going? We went walking at a county park, and I just had to take photos and share them with you!

I thought it was a great time for a walk, the scenery was delightful, but the mosquitoes were not. They were enjoying me, but fortunately for me, I’m getting used to them and didn’t itch much.

Hi, y’all!! How has your week been? It’s been going pretty well here.

We really needed some rain. And we GOT some. I think we had around .5 inches. I’m not sure though, because I haven’t gotten the rain gauge and the area where it is official counted is 5 miles away. A lot can happen in 5 miles. I hope we get more in the coming weeks.

This past summer I had fun taking photos of logs at a woodpile, while I was waiting for others in my group. Did you have fun taking photos of anything? I took this one with my Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro phone. I was experimenting with the settings and liked how the coloring turned out on this one. Have you been experimenting?

Photo of the Week- Pretty Pink Tree

I think this is from a crabapple tree. It was also in the same area as the previous photos I posted. I’m bummed that it’s fuzzy,because now it will be a year until I can take a better photo. I can take pictures of the apples though.

Photo of the Week!- Pink Tree Flowers

As you all know, taking photos is one of my ways making my life simpler. It’s my way of getting out into nature and enjoying everything that it offers. These trees are located near my local library. The library is within walking distance, so it is a great way to get out into nature and enjoy it. The flowers are gone now and so are the trees, to make room for a new parking lot. It means the library expansion is ready to begin!

Back to more flowers! Well, flower petals. As I have been in the past, these were taken on my phone. The first two are some of my favorites I’ve taken this spring. I need to print them out, so I can see if they would look good enough to enter into a contest.

I really enjoy the simplicty of using my phone. It has a number of different filters on it that are fun to use. The photos this week are of the same tree as last week. I just decided to use a different filter for these photos. Personally this filter made them to fuzzy for me. What do you think?
